Privacy and Cookies Policy

These texts were originally drafted in Spanish. Versions in other languages are provided for convenience and are translated by third-party applications. In the event of any interpretive discrepancy, the Spanish version shall prevail. This Policy explains how INTELIGENCIA ARTIFICIAL APLICADA S.A.S. processes the personal data of those who visit the Site, communicate through its channels, request information, take part in business meetings or submit a job application.

1. Site owner and data controller

The website available at https://dotscomagency.com/ (hereinafter, the “Site”) and the data controller is INTELIGENCIA ARTIFICIAL APLICADA S.A.S., CUIT 30-71912460-3, with registered address at Sagrada Familia 447, Edificio Terraforte 1, Torre 2, Depto F, Floors 17 and 18, Barrio Villa Alberdi, City of Córdoba, Capital Department, Province of Córdoba, Argentine Republic (hereinafter, “DotsCom”, the “Company” or the “Controller”). The channel for enquiries and any complaints is comercial@dotscomagency.com, with the subject line “Data Protection”.

2. Scope and differentiation of roles

This Policy applies to data processed by DotsCom in relation to the Site and its own institutional channels. It does not govern databases of clients, prospects or end users that a client delivers, connects or hosts in a CRM, campaign, bot, integration or solution managed by DotsCom.

3. Data that may be collected

Depending on how the person interacts with DotsCom, the following may be processed:

  • identification and contact data, such as first name, surname, email, telephone, company, position and country;
  • commercial and pre-contractual data, such as needs, services of interest, budget, meeting schedule, messages and background to the enquiry;
  • professional, academic and employment data included in CVs, portfolios, professional profiles or applications;
  • technical and browsing data, such as IP address, date and time, device type, operating system, browser, pages visited, referring site, interactions and online identifiers;
  • data obtained through third-party channels chosen by the person, such as WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube or other platforms.

DotsCom does not request sensitive data through the Site. Please do not send information relating to health, racial or ethnic origin, religious or political beliefs, trade union membership, sex life, biometric data, criminal records or other sensitive categories.

4. Purposes of processing

DotsCom may use the data to:

  • respond to enquiries, coordinate meetings, carry out initial diagnostics and prepare proposals or quotes;
  • manage pre-contractual, contractual, administrative and support relationships with clients, suppliers and representatives;
  • assess applications and manage current or future recruitment processes;
  • send content, news or commercial communications where consent or a legal basis exists, always allowing opt-out;
  • measure use of the Site, attribute campaigns, produce statistics and improve content, features and commercial actions, where applicable in accordance with the cookie choice made;
  • protect the security of the Site, prevent abusive or fraudulent use, preserve evidence and comply with legal obligations or requests from authorities.

5. Recipients and service providers

Data may be accessed by authorised DotsCom staff and collaborators and by providers of hosting, web maintenance, email, cloud storage, CRM, analytics, advertising, messaging, security, recruitment, support or professional advisory services. Depending on the functionality used, companies such as Google, Meta —including Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp—, YouTube, LinkedIn and infrastructure or software providers may be involved.

DotsCom does not control and shall not be liable for those independent processing activities, for decisions taken exclusively by such third parties or for data that the user provides to them directly outside the Site or the channels managed by DotsCom.

Data may also be disclosed to authorities, courts or third parties where there is a legal obligation, a valid request or where necessary to exercise or defend rights. DotsCom does not sell personal data obtained through the Site.

6. International transfers

DotsCom may use technology providers located inside or outside the Argentine Republic. Consequently, some personal data may be stored or processed abroad. In such cases, DotsCom will adopt reasonable measures and the legally applicable mechanisms to safeguard the information and comply with current regulations, using providers that offer adequate security and data-protection conditions.

7. Retention periods

Data will be retained for as long as necessary to fulfil its purpose and address legal responsibilities. As a general criterion:

  • enquiries and prospective-client data may be retained while there is an active negotiation and for up to two (2) years from the last interaction, unless deletion is requested earlier or there is a legitimate reason to retain them;
  • data relating to clients, suppliers and contracts will be retained for the duration of the relationship and for the applicable legal, accounting, tax and limitation periods;
  • job applications may be retained for up to twelve (12) months for future compatible searches, unless the person is hired, consent is renewed or deletion is requested beforehand;
  • data used for commercial communications will be retained until opt-out, objection or withdrawal of consent;
  • cookies and browsing identifiers will be retained for the session or persistence period indicated by the cookie panel and the corresponding provider.

8. Security and confidentiality

DotsCom adopts reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data against loss, alteration, unauthorised access, disclosure or processing, and requires confidentiality duties from those involved in its processing. No system connected to the Internet can guarantee absolute security; in the event of an incident, the appropriate containment, assessment and response measures will be taken.

9. Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files or identifiers that the browser stores or transmits to remember information, enable features, measure visits or link browsing to campaigns. The Site may use first-party and third-party cookies, as well as local storage, tags, pixels and similar technologies.

10. Rights of individuals

Upon verification of identity, the data subject may request information about and access to their data, and request its rectification, updating, deletion or confidentiality where applicable. They may also withdraw consent and request to opt out of commercial communications. Requests must be sent to comercial@dotscomagency.com with the subject line “Data Protection”, indicating the right being exercised and attaching the information needed to verify identity. Access requests must be answered within ten (10) calendar days and requests for rectification, updating or deletion within five (5) business days, in accordance with Law No. 25,326.

The Agency for Access to Public Information (Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública), as the supervisory body under Law No. 25,326, is empowered to handle complaints and claims filed in relation to non-compliance with personal data protection regulations.

11. Minors

The Site and DotsCom's services are aimed primarily at adults and representatives of companies or organisations. Minors must not provide personal data without the assistance or authorisation of the person holding parental responsibility or legal representation, where required.

12. Changes to this Policy

DotsCom may update this Policy to reflect legal or technical changes or changes in its processing activities. The version in force will be published with its update date.

13. Enquiries and complaints

Enquiries or requests may be sent to comercial@dotscomagency.com with the subject line “Data Protection”. If the person considers that their rights have not been adequately addressed, they may file a complaint with the Agency for Access to Public Information. The procedure shall be governed by the provisions of clause ten.
